Lindsay and Kartchner are two young Mormon missionaries. They are from Utah and Arizona and they came in the Czech Republic, in Prague, for 9 months to delve their duty of missionaries. It’s like a challenge in an atheistic oriented city as Prague, because it’s hard to develop relationships with the citizens, trying to arouse an interest for their religion. Looking for new followers and helping the neighbour are the most important job of their daily life. In few months they learned Czech language through cds rom, forcing themselves to speak each other in Czech. They live together in a building very close to their community and they never separate from each other. They share a unique mobile to be always reachable. Lindsay and Kartchner work in the office of their community, they collect the books and pamphlets about the Mormon religion and they teach lessons to the followers in the classroom of the community where they also pray and listen to the people. The community is also a pleasant place to stay with other missionaries, to have fun together and to have lunch or dinner: a lot of missionaries are young American guys. One of the nicest and most important moment of the day is when Lindsay and Kartchner go out to find new followers. In the parks, in the street, in the underground they look for the glances of the people and they already know who will listen to them, who will accept the Book of Mormons to follow a new path. But there is a constant that defines every moment of their daily life: the prayer, that one never misses at all
